Does Milena Velba Feel Threatened By Miosotis

Ultrà

This article opens a mini-series that we could call quite explaining "Film Italians who did not see anyone (except me)" and that when you consists of three works: Ultrà Ricky Tognazzi, Giulia not out in the evening Giuseppe Piccioni and something for every Luciano Melchionna.

Let 's start by describing this film Tognazzi's 1991 (just him, that of Icing Bridges), in which cast stand Claudio Amendola and Ricky Memphis and that seeks to place on various aspects of the celluloid world of hooliganism. It must be admitted that the purpose is achieved in part (especially as regards the reconstruction of life's most devoted fans of the self-styled bar that the ball), but as you'll see some choices have undermined script so heavy good success of the film.

The main plot is one that sees Prince, Head ultras Roma player, out of jail in order to get back to being a cheer leader Giallorossi. The powerful opportunity to return home will be a trip to Juventus. Obviously the game will be an excuse to come in contact with the lunatic fringe of black and white and cheering for coming to blows with it. To give variety to the succession of events there is a subplot concerning the relationship between Prince and Red, his brother and leading member of the Capitoline organized supporters, who spent years in jail by the protagonist ponders the decision to abandon the curve and won the woman of Prince.

speaking of mere artistic aspects of the film, we can say that the director, in the first part of the film too elementary, adopts an almost documentary style in the second half of the battles between fans and police that highlights the stark reality of the fighting. In my opinion, is that the part you mockumentary most successful film. Instead, by rejecting totally the soundtrack, consisting of electronic tunes from the 80s B-Movie and the ever-when it comes to Maggica - "Grazie Roma" by Antonello Venditti.

The script turns out to be (unexpectedly) true to life and a good standard. A destabilizing moments involved but really out of place, like the pseudo-rape "that opens the film, the scene of a soccer game on the bed cell, the crying of a supporter during the train journey which can not but raise a smile . To improve the situation, however, shall be the final, a rare dramatic intensity. I would say that it is the closing sequence and the overall relevance that distinguishes the true description of the internal dynamics of the risk curve to raise the film and prevent it results in a low-level Papocchia.

Although it was critically acclaimed and succeeded in winning two David di Donatello and the critics' prize at the Berlinale, however, we are faced with a few things for both the technical means used for the story, as it very faithful to the true but sometimes banalotta.

If you were to make a comparison with another great movie about hooliganism, such as the latest Green Street Hooligans, to paraphrase the jargon of football you could say that England beat Italy 2 to 1: if the two have in common a general relevance to the truth, there which highlights the shortcomings of the Italian film emerged the merits of the film by Lexi Alexander, which could certainly count on more substantial capital on a screenplay and more homogeneous. Estimation, however, sufficient to grant it.
