After the critical acclaim and public (...) last year, Torano premiums minus but the most exclusive areas of the world's electronic!
MAN OF THE YEAR: JULIAN ASSANGE (AUS, technology, politics)
The man behind WikiLeaks from a simple computer hacker has become the nemesis of diplomacy over the world and the IMN. Pure 's accusation of rape seems more like an attempt to discredit him in the light of the world and subject it to a loophole for a political process. Although I have doubts about its mission of transparency and truth, deserves my award.
Runners up:
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (IRN, politics)
Mark Zuckerberg (U.S. technology)
Jose Mourinho (POR, sports)
WOMAN OF THE YEAR: SAKINEH ASTIHANI (IRN, crime)
The handkerchief to wave by the politically correct over the world to demand rights for women became a symbol of cruelty and puppet of the right and power of Iran. Despite dozens of women are killed worldwide while being truly innocent, the world loses its head behind a murderous faithless, the face of the principle of nonintervention in the internal affairs of a state.
Runners Up:
Aung Saan Suu Kyi (MIY, politics)
Hillary Clinton (U.S. politics)
Tina Fey (U.S. show)
FILM OF THE YEAR: The first thing BELLA (ITA)
In my opinion, this is one of those movies that only the Italians know how to do: no one knows how we describe the joys and tragedies of life, all without losing an eye on the innocence and naivety typical Italian comedy. And we should all be proud of, although I fear that the Oscar will pick him if "the rich".
Runners Up:
Among the Clouds (USA)
An Education (UK)
Il Riccio (FRA)
GAME OF THE YEAR: METROID OTHER M (JPN, Wii)
the umpteenth revival of Metroid has the look of the new Wiimote, but the soul of Nes: a game that blends the past with the present and the new with the old, as well as an excellent base for the future of Samus Aran.
Runners Up:
Dragon Quest IX (JPN, Ds)
Dreams Fragile: Farewell Riuns Of The Moon (JPN, Wii) Gran Turismo 5
(JPN, PS3)
ALBUM OF THE YEAR: "FLAMINGO" BY BRANDON FLOWERS (USA)
With the temporary abandonment of The Killers, the rocker Mormon comes out with an album intimate and personal, could be different but equally powerful work of his band. The review a few posts earlier .
Runners Up:
"Love" Angels & Airwaves (USA)
"This Is War" of 30 Seconds To Mars (USA)
"So?" By Max Gazzè (ITA)
BOOK (double) DELL ' YEAR: "Q" of Luther Blissett
Unlike other categories, I won a book of this calendar year because I rarely follow the calendar of literary output (only novel of 2010 is that of Ken Follett, I name only due to the fact that I have not finished yet). However, I think we are dealing with one of the greatest Italian novels of the twentieth century, as loud as a cannon ball, as the driving force of a river, an ancient yet modern.
Runners Up:
"Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury
"The Fall of the Giants" by Ken Follett
"The lid of the Sea" by Banana Yoshimoto
CARTOON OF THE YEAR: "Vinland Saga" by Makoto Yukimura
I have not read a lot for lack of money for lack of time, but if I had to make a name, I would mention this, and indeed it is strange that it has not yet reviewed. A story of blood and revenge in a historical context beautifully played. A must.
Runners Up:
'Bakuman' by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata,
"GTO Shonan 14 Days" by Tohru Fujikawa,
"Hiroshima: The Land of Flowers" The Cherry.
TELEVISION PROGRAM YEAR: 30ROCK (USA, SkyUno)
One of the best exclusive Sky. Series of worship in the United States, 30 Rock appears as a ferocious satire, witty and intelligent television and American society, while not a few gags disdegnado put there just for laughs .
Runners Up:
"FlashForward" (USA, Fox / Italy 1)
"Vanguard" (ITA, CurrentTV)
"The Betrothed" (ITA, Rai Uno)
Sportsman of the Year: JOSE 'Mourinho (POR, soccer)
The Special One takes home the award thanks to the historic trio of trophies won by Inter. It 'not my idea that the Portuguese team in Milan would not have got everything to put on bulletin board. Great coach and a great communicator, was perhaps the brightest star in Serie A last year.
Runners Up:
Sebastian Vettel (GER, Formula 1)
Andres Iniesta (SPA, soccer)
Antonio Fuentes (SPA, bicycling, or what purports to be)
FACT OF THE YEAR: THE REVELATIONS OF Wikileaks (political)
2010 is the year of the rise to prominence of Wikileaks, which with its scoop the first relating to the misdeeds of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and then to the views of leading American diplomacy on the world, he shook his wrist most of Washington, Rome and other centers of power. So much so that it comes up with any way to knock out.
Runners Up: The Crisis of
Ireland, Greece and Portugal (economics)
The Collapse of the Domus Pompei (culture, or what's left of it)
The movements for reform France, Italy and England (politics, economics)
